3rd part of the series where I look into the old stuff laying around that might still be useful. This time it sill be the more odd and experimental.
This winter version of the Flanaess was a first installment of what was going to be a series of maps depicting the Flanaess in all seasons. The projects fell apart due to me getting deep into a new generation of maps using World Machine, and its possibilities. I realized that seasonal maps are much more usable at a local level that for the whole setting, so when I saw what could be done locally this projects kind of fell on the wayside. It got sitting on my hard drive until now When I uploaded it to my Notion site.
This was a more ambitious project that got published but hasn't gotten any love since. A map focusing on the rivers of the Flanaess, their navigability and flow.

A project that gave rise to a lot of thoughts around the topography and drainage of our beloved subcontinent. Rivers and lakes are constantly proving to be the most difficult part of mapping, never ceases to surprise me how much difficulties can be generated by them.
